As the youngest of 9 in a close-knit family that enjoys a good reputation for a strong work ethic, trustworthiness and honesty in our community Jami Sundstrom, Sea Ranch Realtor, grew up with the real estate industry. Her mother was a Realtor, her father was a logger, and most of her family members are entrepreneurs running successful businesses from hardware stores to premier construction companies specializing in luxury homes in Sea Ranch. The Sundstrom family culture is real estate development, home sales and investing back into their community. Jami’s favorite tagline is, “We live here, we work here, are here for you!” This saying could not be more true for Jami.


On top of her mind, Jami always knew she would be a Realtor like her mom. She had the good fortune of watching her career and receiving mom’s advice while waiting for her daughters to reach an age where she could devote her time to her clients without the interference of sporting events and runny noses. While raising her family, Jami worked in education, and then within the real estate industry in property management with short-term vacation rentals until she was able to move into Real Estate sales full time.


Prior to her full-time real estate career, Jami also had a successful career in California public school administration for 20 years.  The discipline of structure, systems, rules and regulations, calendars/schedules, public accountability is a greater primer for her second career in Real Estate. Jami is completely committed to being a full time Realtor and building a successful Real Estate business. She does not have the distractions of raising young children, trying to help a spouse run their business on the side, or trying to be semi-retired on the Coast. 


Jami’s favorite aspect of her job is working deals, going for that win-win for all parties.  She enjoys being a guide for her clients, gathering all the information and educating them on the process so that they can make the right decision for themselves.  Nothing feels better than everyone getting what they need in a transaction, that is true success.


Jami selected REMAX GOLD for their education, training and social responsibility.  The culture of REMAX is one of professionalism and developing their agents into top producers. She feels that coworkers play to the direct expectations of their peers and she knew when she joined REMAX that she was welcome, encouraged, and supported by the top producing agents in the local market center. By watching them operate she gained clarity on how she wanted to conduct her business and what kind of experience she wanted to provide for her clients. Jami now has a strong network of agents that help one another with everything from contract language to the best service providers.  She also participates in referrals thru REMAX.


When not working, Jami likes to re-charge herself spending time with her family. Near to her heart is her passion to volunteer in her community and schools. Time with the family and friends can mean spending time at the beach, river, walking the local coastal trails. Jami loves horses, as her daughter participated in rodeos for over five years, the CCPRA and PRA Rodeo Queen. Now as a family, they continue to support and encourage aspiring young Rodeo contestants.
